LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: BUILDING CAPACITY OF SELF & OTHERS

This workshop is designed for administrators, program directors and emerging leaders working in early childhood and elementary school settings. Participants will identify opportunities and challenges inherent in the leadership role and examine ways to build engaging teaching and learning communities. Discussion will emphasize concrete ways to motivate, support, inspire and cultivate teacher leaders. Topics will include: Self as Leader, Growing Teacher Leaders, Building Collaborative Teams, Developing a Culture of Shared Leadership.

Participants will leave with the following:

• Gain clarity on their leadership style
